The Nissan GTP class featured a competitive battle at the front of the field, with Toby Yeomans emerging as the victor after starting from the second position. Yeomans completed 29 laps and led a total of 23 laps during the event, finishing with 6 incidents recorded. Pole-sitter Gabri Martinez led 5 laps but ultimately finished in second place, hindered by a higher incident count of 10. Nathan J Allen completed the podium in third place, finishing on the same lap as Savolainen after starting from the seventh position and accumulating 13 incidents. Several notable performances highlighted the field across both classes. In the Audi 90 GTO class, Lance Simon demonstrated significant pace by gaining 6 positions relative to his starting spot. Meanwhile, Vincent Herceg faced a difficult outing, recording 15 incidents throughout the race. The event at Mid-Ohio was characterized by high incident rates across the field, with podium finishers in both classes managing double-digit incident totals, excluding the Nissan GTP winner and third-place finisher.
